Dallas-born multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of painting, wearable art, and sculptural object-making. Three years of dedicated practice have produced a body of work that refuses easy categorization — blending abstract realism with the textures and tensions of everyday material culture.
His approach to leather goods and custom vases extends the same logic as his canvases: every object is a fragment of a larger story, asking the viewer to slow down, look closer, and complete the picture themselves.

"Don't Take No Wooden Nickels" The Anchor Piece
This painting tells a story. There was often little conversation in the room as I saw my grandfather take his last breath. I felt his soul fade away from the bed he was on. It confused me in a way.
Weeks went by. For some random reason I wanted to paint my grandfather — never painted before in my life. So I grabbed some wood and paint and started painting. As I was finishing this piece I was immediately lost for words how real it looked. It instantly sparked my creativity.
"Don't take no wooden nickels" — that's the description for my grandfather's painting.
The figures in the exhibition are constructed from pieces rather than painted as complete portraits. They represent the layered nature of identity — and the way we perceive ourselves & others. What appears fractured at first glance reveals itself as a complete being when viewed from a distance.
